As gorgeous as a Disney Princess, this week I have the pleasure of introducing you to Ariel. Available for adoption at the Town of Hempstead Animal Shelter, Ariel is a 5 year old spayed Boston Terr/ pit mix and the volunteers at the shelter are over-the-moon and under-the-sea for this angel. At just 44 pounds, Ariel came to the shelter as a stray after being found tied up in a parking lot. This little girl is extremely unique looking, and super sweet. She is a little nervous at the shelter, understandably, but once she has the opportunity to settle into a home she will blossom like no other. Ariel is recommended for a home with teens and up, displays no issues with people near her food, and is sure to make an amazing companion! Ariel was nervous with cats, but is GREAT WITH DOGS!! So much so that the shelter’s trainers use her to test OTHER dogs friendliness! Ariel was nervous of her surroundings when she came in to the shelter, but she has relaxed and is just a wonderful girl who very much deserves a home!
