2013 Walk For Alzheimer's
Join Together to Walk Toward a Future Free from Alzheimers!
Join us for the 2013 Walk For Alzheimer’s, raising awareness and funds to help support local research as well as local families who are coping with a diagnosis of dementia and/or Alzheimer’s Disease. Walk and Clambake will be held in Riverhead on August 24th; Walk and Mexican Fiesta will be held in Old Bethpage Village Restoration on September 7th and Walk and Fall Festival will be held in Westhampton Beach on October 26th, 2013. Join us today so that we will have a Future Free From Alzheimer’s tomorrow!

Join the Dix Hills Performing Arts Center as they welcome back Marilyn Michaels - the woman of 1,000 faces and voices! You'll be entertained with a night filled with non-stop laughs and powerful song - an evening truly not to be missed. The 18th Annual East Northport Festival
September has begun - which means it’s time for the 18th Annual East Northport Festival! The fun-filled weekend starts this Friday, September 6th, and goes through Sunday, September 8th at John Walsh Park. Enjoy live entertainment, exhibits, craft vendors, delicious food, petting zoo, bicycle stunt shows, magic shows, sidewalk sales, street performers, amusement rides, and fun games for everyone! See the listing for times. Don’t miss this fantastic opportunity for some family fun!

Adopt-A-Battalion's Support Our Troops Dinner
If you’re looking to give back this weekend, head down to the Adopt-A-Battalion’s Support Our Troops Dinner this Saturday, September 7th at 7PM! The dinner will be held at Knights of Columbus Hall #6911 and admission is $35. This includes dinner, refreshments including beer and wine as well as dessert. All proceeds  go to AAB in their continuing effort to supply our troops deployed overseas with much needed and appreciated personal supplies. Head down for a great dinner for a great cause!

Local Author Fair
Do you love books? Head on down to the Local Author Fair at Sachem Public Library this Sunday at 1PM! The fair will feature local published authors who will have their books in display in the library's garden. Not only will you get the chance to meet them, but copies will also be available for purchase and signing! Don’t miss this great opportunity to get to know some of the best local authors around!

Grateful Fest
Are you a diehard Grateful Dead fan? You won’t want to miss the Grateful Fest at Vanderbilt Museum this Sunday, September 8th, from 12PM-7PM! This day of tribute bands will feature Half Step,The Electrix, Unbroken Chain, and Reflections along with 50 Artists painting to the inspiration of the live music, scenic vistas, and audience interaction. Tickets are $20 rain or shine. Head out to The Great Lawn for this day you won’t forget!

The 2013 East Northport Annual Festival
Come Join the East Northport Chamber of Commerce This Weekend & Celebrate!

The annual East Northport Festival is about to kick into high gear this weekend! Kicking off on Friday evening and going strong all weekend long, this festival promises to offer all sorts of fun, entertainment, rides, food, and craft vendors - something for the whole family to enjoy! In addition to all of the great entertainment, on Sunday the 8th at 12PM, you can head over to the Main Stage at John Walsh Park to help East Northport beat their Hokey Pokey record! Participants are encouraged to bring friends, family, and teams, and are asked to bring a can of food or non-perishable item for donation. If you're looking for fun, then this fair is one you won't want to miss - so mark your calendars, and get ready to head to East Northport this weekend!
