Ralphie had a rough start: He was abandoned at a local Petco, where his former owner tied his leash to a post and left him to be found by employees when the store opened. This poor pup was covered in fleas, and obviously not cared for by his last owner.  He was taken in and cleaned up by Save-a-Pet Animal Rescue and Adoption Center, and now he is ready to find a home where he can be loved and cared for.

This spritely Jack Russell Terrier mix is six years old, but this is still young for a small dog like Ralphie, who can live well into his late teens. He gets along well with kids and other dogs, and he loves to go for walks, so he can be the perfect walking or running companion for you or your children.  Jack Russells usually enjoy ball sports because of their great agility and drive, so you can also stock up on some tennis balls and Frisbees for Ralphie to enjoy outside.

Ralphie is neutered, housetrained, and up-to-date with all of his routine vaccinations.
