Kittens can provide an endless source of entertainment thanks to their adventurous and playful attitude, and if they are given lots of love when they are young, they will be the perfect companion all the way through their older years. This week, meet Brooklen, a four month old kitten with Last Chance Animal Rescue who is already a ball of fun, and is sweet and outgoing towards people.
Brooklen had a rough start in life at a high-kill shelter in South Carolina, and was lucky enough to be rescued by LCAR along with her mother and siblings. This domestic short hair white kitten is all too happy to have a better chance at life and to show everyone her glowing personality. Her foster describes her as playful and goofy, yet very intelligent.
This young kitty would be fine with house or apartment life, and looks forward to the indoor life of batting around toys and sleeping in your lap. Best of all, Brooklen is an all-around friendly cat who is good with other cats, dogs, children, and adults.
Brooklen is spayed, housetrained, and up-to-date with all of her routine vaccinations.

Last Chance Animal Rescue is a volunteer-based not-for-profit organization located out of Southampton which rescues animals from “kill” facilities – many of which are rural shelters in southern states – and underwrites the costs of relocating them to “no-kill” facilities and foster homes with the goal of adopting them into a forever family.
