Blend Wine & Tapas at Pace's
A Savory Culinary Adventure, Right on Long Island!
Proprietors Jimmy Pace, Tommy Quinn and Chef Mike invite you to try their newest culinary adventure: Blend Wine and Tapas Bar. This isn't a traditional tapas bar or even one with Spanish specialties. But it's a comfortable spot for small-and-bigger plates that pair well with drinks. From the menu, try the flatbread with prosciutto, Gorgonzola cheese, pear and fig, a combo sure to make you order another round. The barbecued pulled chicken is satisfying. "Pig wings," cut from the lower part of the shank, are billed as spicy but are more vinegary tart. Blend has a "gnocchi bar," too. Pick a sauce and have a plate. The carbonara works. Mussel pots also are available. Come enjoy wonderful food, wines from around the world, special live music events, and lively conversation.
Blend is located at 321 Nesconset Hwy, in Hauppauge; 631-979-7686.
