As July draws to an end, we kick off the month of August with some sizzling heat - and some of the hottest fun and events happening all Summer! Whether you live for the dog days of Summer, or you're looking for cool ways to beat the heat this August, there's plenty of exciting entertainment happening across the Island - just because the Summer is winding down, doesn't mean the fun will be slowing down any time soon!

From local Main Street Days, which have become a beloved pasttime and tradition for Long Islanders of all ages, to Outdoor Summer Concert Series keeping the fun going well into the evening, there's something for everyone!

In addition to the family fun, there will also be plenty of Farmers Markets happening this August, where you can snag some locally grown fruits & veggies, delicious baked goods, honey, and other locally-made produce.
