Background: The Breathe for Britt Foundation was founded in 2008 by Brian Kane in memory of his Goddaughter Brittany F. Braun. The mission of this foundation is to honor Brittany's life and her fun-loving spirit by providing joy, hope, and comfort to individuals facing the daily challenge of living life with cystic fibrosis, the inherited disease that shortened Brittany's life. BFBF assists Long Island children with cystic fibrosis through various programs such as our Gimmie-A-Break! Day, providing children and their families a break from the stresses of life with a chronic illness.
