Geesh! People are SOOOOOO annoying! You ever have a friend - you know the kind i'm talking about - the one that says they're on their way, or lets go out, yet they never call? I hate that friend.

So today is a new day, and the weekend is tomorrow. My plans? Going to the beach. I've learned over the past week that there is a life outside of the 'Night-time' hours (Shhhh! don't say anything though, or i'll lose my gig!) I've actually really enjoyed being up when normal people are, though I've realized no one is normal!

Ok, so I came up with some fun ideas of stuff to do this summer. FIrst and foremost - The HAMPTONS! (just watch for speeding SUV's in reverse) They've got clubs, they've got bars, they've got liquor, they've got the opposite sex - hell its kind of like a utopia! Then there are the beaches. I myslef fancy Smith's Point (probally cause I live 5 minutes form it) but any beach will do. I like the beach by my grandmothers house. She lives on one of those roads in Bayville (thats in Nassau county just north of Oyster Bay for all you geography buffs) that has the private beach at the end of the block. I spent many a summer day there when I was a kid, and it just never gets old.

Then there is number three - but my top priority - SPLISH SPLASH! I totally haven't been there since the first summer it opened and I plan to go several times this year (so that means i'll get there 2 times). ALso there are baseball games. And I don't mean SHea Stadium (boo!) or Yankee Stadium (Go Yanks!) I mean EAB park for our own Long Island Ducks. I mean it almost reads like a classified ad for something- "Good Game, Cheap Seats, Descent Food, Close to home"

And finally when all else fails there is Music! Between the Go-Go's at the Brookhaven Ampitheater, Moby's Area-One festival, and Stevie Nicks at Jones Beach, there has got to be something for everyone. Plus don't forget about our local music at places like the Village Pub in Port Jeff and Mulcahey's in Wantaugh. Plus July 23rd is the Our Lady Peace concert at the Vanderbilt and those guys rule!

So thats my report for the meanwhile. Its not much, but its a start. Stay tuned next week for all those pick-up lines! you still have time to get those in, so E-MAIL ME!!!!!!!!

Take care kids!
