June draws to an end this weekend, and we kick off next week with July, with the 4th falling right in the middle of the week this year. It's been continuing to get hotter and hotter as we creep closer to the holiday, and with Independence Day occurring mid-week, there are plenty of festivities and celebrations coming up this weekend, and all week long. It looks like the temperatures are going to be staying high, and even with the sporadic thunderstorms, the outlook is pretty great for fun on Long Island this weekend & all summer long. British Invasion Summer Music Camp
Make This Summer Rock at Murphy's Music!
Still looking for the perfect Summer Camp for the kids? If your child has a passion for music, and loves to rock, then Murphy's "British Invasion" Summer Music Camp is the perfect way to enjoy a summer of fun and music. Starting July 9th and running for 4 weeks, class is 10 AM - 2 PM Monday through Friday, and gives campers the opportunity to express thier passion for music, and learn classics infamous British Rock Bands such as Led Zeppelin, the Rolling Stones, and The Who! In August, after camp has ended, there will be a full group performance showcasing what everyone has learned! Students must have 1 year prior experience with thier instrument, & space is limited! The 20 Year Revival Comes to Bay Street July 3rd-28th, 2012
This July, Bay Street Theatre revives the timeless classic Men's Lives - the book turned stageplay that exposes the ongoing struggles of Long Island fishermen, and gives these men a voice on stage. The play eloquently portrays the life on Long Island for the fishing community as opportunities begin to dwindle, and their courageous fight against the government as their chances at a decent livelihood become crippled by policy changes. "It's not fish ye're buying, it's men's lives." - the Sir Walter Scott quote that the basis for the play, as well as the inspiration for the title. This Week's Best Long Island Events 

Moonlight Luau on the Waterfront
Join East End Hospice this Saturday night as they celebrate their annual Moonlight Lua! A highlight of the summer season, this party will feature fabulous cuisine, terrific live music, auctions and casino gaming! Tickets for this gala evening range from $225 or $125 if you are under 35 yrs old. Hosted at Sandacres Estate in Quogue this Lua is guaranteed to be a spectacular evening.

First Annual Sea Robin Roundup Family Fishing Tournament and Festival
This Saturday, come help raise money for the Wounded Warrior Project at the First Annual Sea Robin Roundup! Starting at dawn and going through 5pm, the tournament will help raise awareness of the populous sea robin fish. Costs to enter the tournament are $30 per adult, $20 for youth 16 and under.  Hosted at Mill Dam Park the festival starts at 3PM and goes to 10PM. Sous Chef Brian Loiacono of NYC restaurant DANIEL will be giving cooking demos & tastings prepared with the day's catch!

Bay Shore-Brightwaters Rescue Ambulance Comedy Night
This Saturday at 7 PM, come see some of TV’s best comedians Saturday night at Bay Shore- Brightwaters Rescue Ambulance Second Annual Comedy Night with "A Side Order of Laughs"! Featuring Peter Bales, Paul Bond, Chris Monty, Joe Currie, and Tommy & Tina, this will be a guaranteed great night out! You must be 18 to enter and 21 to drink, tickets are $40 in advance and $45 at the door.
