You know Long Island will have a fantastic display of fireworks, parades and festivals to celebrate the Fourth of July, but here’s more events to check out with the family over the holiday weekend! There’s fishing, a game of baseball, a dance party, comedy events, stage performances and more. Check out the schedule of events and details here!

FRIDAY – JULY 4, 2014
Who: Family Fishing At Captree State Park

Info: Enjoy a day of fishing over the holiday with family!

Who: Fourth Of July Dog Party And Safe Haven
Info: Enjoy a day of agility and fitness courses, activities, games, and music with your dog to drown out the barrage of noises outside! To canines the sound of fireworks may be frightening and cause stress. The event is open to all, but please bring only well socialized pooches, with up to date vaccinations, as there will be plenty of off leash activities at the center. Also bring your own food, drinks and treats.

Who: Long Island Ducks Ballgame & Fireworks At Bethpage Ballpark
Info: Enjoy a game of baseball over Independence Day! In addition to the game of the Long Island Ducks vs. the Camden Riversharks, there’s fireworks to see.
