Soon the skies will be full of fireworks, the streets will be full of parades, and backyards will be full of barbecues. The Dix Hills Performing Arts Center is ready to kick off the summer season, starting with a Doo Wop Harmony Night featuring the Belmonts and the Acchords on Saturday, June 21. The fun will continue all summer long with performances from comedians including Robert Klein and Uncle Floyd. There will also be tributes to Janis Joplin, ABBA, the Greatful Dead, The Moody Blues, and more. Don’t miss the Vanilla Fudge Farewell Tour in September!

Heckscher Outdoor Festival
Spend your weekend at the outdoor festival at East Islip's Heckscher State Park. Festival will begin at 11 AM both Saturday and Sunday and will feature live animals, pony rides, music, games, arts and crafts and more! $8 vehicle fee to enter.
Cutchogue Lions Car Show
Enjoy a day out at the Cutchogue Lions Car Show on Sunday, June 22nd at Pindar Vineyards from 9 AM-4 PM. Charity car show will be hosted by the Cutchogue Lions Club and is just $5 to enter and free for children under 12.
Hunt for Wild Foods in Bayport
Join "Wildman" Steve Brill on an adventure for wild foods at the Bayport Flower Houses. Hunt will take place on Saturday, June 21st at 11:00 AM. Get hands on during the presentation followed by a book signing. $20 admission, $10 for children under 12.
Fundraiser Garage Sale to Benefit Wildlife and Habitat!
Head to the garage sale fundraiser to this Saturday, June 21st to view new and nearly new children's items for sale as well as other quality items. Sale will take place on Pulaski Rd. in Huntington Station from 9 AM-2 PM.
East Northport 2014 Annual Golf Classic
Don't miss out on this year's East Northport Golf Classic on Wednesday, June 25th at the Wind Watch Golf & Country Club! Enjoy a day of fun featuring golf and 50/50 raffles. The golf classic will begin at 7:00 AM and will end at 1:00 PM.
