For most 60-year-old's, running one mile would be a great accomplishment. But one Long Island grandmother from Great Neck has accomplished a feat most 20-year-old's can only dream about. Gloria Linares completed the "Mayor's Marathon" in Anchorage, Alaska on Saturday in 4 hours and 20 minutes and with that, has now run a marathon in every state. According to the New York Post, Gloria, a retired manicurist, ran her first marathon in New York City in 1978 and hasn't stopped running since. She trains by running 10 miles a day and eats a diet that focuses on fruits and vegetables. According to Gloria, her next goal is to run a marathon on every continent. Based on her track record, there are few doubts that she will accomplish this goal.
