Weekends on Long Island are always packed with action! This weekend there’s a wine event, dinner comedy shows, kayaking and musical and theater performances. On Friday, check out the wine event at The Cradle of Aviation Museum, a comedy and dinner showcase from Riverhead Volunteer Fire Department and kayaking along Long Pond for Earth Day Paddle. On Saturday, enjoy a tribute performance to the Beatles at NYCB Theatre at Westbury, the second annual comedy night at Bay Shore Fire headquarters and a dance party at Bay Street Theatre. On Sunday, enjoy music and theater performances, including the Long Island Harmonizers, the Hofstra Jazz Ensemble and a performance of 12 Angry Jurors at The Rose Theater. Who: A Taste Of Flight Wine Expo At The Cradle Of Aviation Museum
Info: Come celebrate a wine event featuring wines from Long Island, Finger Lakes, California, France, Spain, Portugal, Oregon, Washington State, South America, South Africa, Italy and more! The event also features the sampling of cheese, chocolates and other food from specialty shops. Enjoy it all while strolling amongst jets and planes of aviation history and live jazz. An additional session is available on Saturday, April 20.

Who: Comedy And Dinner Showcase At Riverhead Volunteer Fire Department
Info: The comedy and dinner showcase features comedians Chris Roach, Paul Anthony, Scott Schendlinger and Maria Walsh. An Italian-style dinner will be served. There’s also be a cash bar, raffles and Chinese auction. Doors open at 5:30PM.

Info: It’s a production by Fly By Night Productions, written by Reginald Rose and directed by James Carey. It tells the story of a classic courtroom drama involving a diverse group of 12 strangers who must decide the fate of an inner-city teen on trial for murder of his abusive father.
