The Suffolk County Police Department has issued a Silver Alert for a missing St. James man who suffers from memory loss.

Update - April 1st, 2015 - 3:15 PM - The New York State Missing Vulnerable Adult Alert on behalf of the Suffolk County Police Department for Frederick McGhee is now cancelled as of 03:15 pm on April 1st, 2015. Frederick McGhee has been located, unharmed.
 
Saint James, NY - April 1, 2015 - The Suffolk County Police Department has issued a Silver Alert for a missing St. James man who suffers from memory loss.
 
Frederick McGhee, 89, of 609 Bentley Court, was last seen at his home at approximately 2:30 a.m. today. McGhee is white, approximately 5 feet 9 inches tall, 145 pounds with blue eyes and white hair. He left his home in a gray 2003 Toyota Camry with NY plate AVH 8442. He was possibly wearing a royal blue jacket and black hat.
 
Anyone with information on McGhee’s location is asked to call 911 or the Fourth Squad at 631-854-8452.
 
As a reminder, Silver Alert is a program implemented in Suffolk County that allows local law enforcement to share information with media outlets about individuals with special needs who have been reported missing.
