It’s Easter weekend and there’s plenty of family-friendly events and entertainment happening on Long Island! On Friday, catch Chris Tucker perform at NYCB Theatre at Westbury, enjoy a murder mystery comedy dinner at Shandon Court or head over to Quogue Community Hall for a performance of The Drawer Boy presented by Hampton Theatre Company. On Saturday, there’s plenty of outdoor adventure happening. Take part in a hike to the top of the moraine in Bridgehampton, attend the Benner’s Farm opening weekend event or go on a cruise to view the population of seals at Hempstead Bay. On Sunday, catch the vintage car parade hosted by the Garden City Chamber of Commerce and enjoy an Easter meal at La Tavola Trattoria. Who: Chris Tucker At NYCB Theatre At Westbury
Info: Chris Tucker is a comedian on film and on stage. Enjoy a night of hilarious standup comedy as he performs live.

Who: The “Family,” the Fun… And The Felony Murder Mystery Comedy Dinner At Shandon Court
Info: Come by for an interactive dinner show. The show tells the story of two rival Irish and Italian mob families coming face to face for a night of murderous fun. The Bacchagaloops are celebrating a special occasion and the rival family, the Barzinis, is not happy that the celebration interferes with their own daughter’s sweet 16.

Who: The Drawer Boy At Quogue Community Hall
Info: The Drawer Boy is presented by Hampton Theatre Company. The performance tells the story of a pair of farmers whose tranquil lives are overturned when a young actor comes to visit.

Who: Hike The Moraine With Friends Of The Long Island Greenbelt And South Fork Natural History Museum
Info: Take an adventure on a hilly 1.5-mile hike that will lead you to the top of the moraine in Bridgehampton – a vantage point that is 218 feet above sea level. You’ll get to see a panoramic view from Mecox Bay to the Atlantic Ocean. Reservations are required.

Who: Benner’s Farm Opening Weekend
Info: Benner’s Farm is opening up for the spring season this weekend. Stop by to celebrate the birth of its new baby lambs, bunnies, chicks and goats.

Who: Seal Cruise On Captain  Lou Fleet
Info: Enjoy a view of the winter harbor seal population throughout Hempstead Bay as a naturalist on board discusses the biology and behavior of seals and other marine life. Reservations are required.

SUNDAY – MARCH 31, 2013

Who: Garden City Chamber’s 58th Vintage Car Parade
Info: Watch hundreds of vintage and classic cars roll down Franklin Avenue, up to Seventh Street for this vintage car parade and show. The event will be held rain or shine and it will feature music by the Banjo Rascals. Easter bunnies will be handing out candy along the parade route.
Cost: Free For Spectators, $15 For Car Registration (or $12 For Advance Car Registration)

Who: Easter At La Tavola Trattoria
Info: It’s Easter Sunday and La Tavola has prepared a 3 course prixe-fixe dinner menu including specialty dishes like encrusted rack of lamb, seafood and steak specialties. Chef Tom will also have its famous crumb doughnut or an Easter Sundae for dessert available. Reservations are recommended.

Who: April Fool’s Comedy Jam At NYCB Theatre At Westbury
