This Week's Best Long Island Events 
 
Long Island Museum Turns 75
Bring the whole family down to the Long Island Museum this Saturday to help celebrate their 75th Anniversary! The celebration will begin at 10 AM and will include a grand reopening featuring exhibitions saluting artists Jackson Pollock and the Mount brothers, William Sydney and Shepard Alonzo. Admission is $9 per person, just $4 for children 6 and younger.

2014 Mineola St. Patrick's Day Parade
Get into the Irish spirit this Sunday at Mineola's St. Patrick's Day Parade! The parade will begin at 1 PM at County Courthouse on Old Country Rd. and will go North on Mineola Blvd. to Jericho Tpke. ending near the firehouse. Enjoy an after parade gathering at the Irish Center on Willis Ave. for just $10 per person. Children are free.

The Suffolk Theater's 1st Anniversary Gala
Celebrate The Suffolk Theater's One Year Anniversary this Saturday by dressing in your 20's best while dancing to HBO's Boardwalk Empire's Vince Giordano & The Nighthawks! Party will start at 8 PM, $45 admission includes the Gala & Speakeasy Party with DeeJay. Also enjoy a special Gala Menu for an additional purchase at your table. AHRC Suffolk's 3rd Annual Polar Bear Splash
Head to the Bay Shore Marina this Saturday for the 3rd Annual Polar Bear Splash! Registration will begin at 8:30 AM and the splash will take place at 10 AM. Registration is $20, $10 for students and free for children 12 and under. AHRC Suffolk will split 50/50 the money raised by student teams or groups for their school or charity of choice! Come on down and help make a difference!
