One great way to start transitioning yourself from the Winter season to the Spring season, is to start spending more time outside! Temperatures are still dropping very low, but each day that passes brings us that much closer to the warmer, nicer weather. Participating in a Winter hike on Long Island is the perfect activity! These events, held at different paces, are appropriate for both hiking novices and experts.

Make sure you have on a comfortable pair of shoes, that you've layered up your clothing, and that you're ready for some fun out on the hiking trails of Long Island!

Family Winter Water Birds and Beach Walk at South Fork Natural History Museum and Nature Center
