Written by Kelly Tenny  |  20. February 2015

Although we’re still slowly trucking through the end of the Winter season here on Long Island, Spring will be upon us soon enough and with Spring comes lots of beautiful, budding flowers and varieties of flora! One of the best places to visit to admire these blooming botanicals is a garden or arboretum on the Island. Gardens provide a wonderful venue for thought and contemplation, relaxation and knowledge! You can learn a lot by visiting a Long Island garden or arboretum and you can also get up close and personal with native Long Island wildlife! Don’t forget to bring your camera!
