Towards the mid-end of the month of February here in the U.S. we celebrate President’s Day. President’s Day is a day set aside to honor all of the United States presidents who have come and gone through our nation’s history, though many fixate on presidents Washington and Lincoln who have birthdays surrounding President’s Day.

President’s Day weekend is a much anticipated time, especially for kids! Although President’s Day brings with it tons of great sales and a day off for some, it also marks the beginning of Mid-Winter Recess, which means the kids will be out of school until the following Monday, February 23rd.

What to do with all of that time off? Well here are some ideas for fun things to do with the kids, relaxing ways to unwind, and events to attend to keep you occupied during President’s Day Weekend!
