Isolated structural damage may be observed along the immediate shoreline. * Shoreline impacts...elevated water levels in combination with 3 to 5 ft of surf are expected to cause beach erosion and splashover along the shoreline this evening. This weekend’s featured events will have you entertained with bowling, comedy, shopping for Valentine’s Day gifts, baking and much more! On Friday, stop by Sid Jacobson Jewish Community Center to braid your own challah to take home with you to bake. North Babylon Library is also holding an event that is an introduction to aromatherapy. You’ll have the opportunity to create your own sample to bring home. During the evening, go bowling at Bowl For A Cure at Sayville Bowl. On Saturday, check out the amazing Butterflies exhibit at Long Island Aquarium & Exhibition Center. The Sheraton Hotel will also be holding the Valentine’s Day Gift Fair Expo where you can find the perfect gift for the one you love. Ballet Long Island is also performing Alice in Wonderland. On Sunday, it’s your chance to enjoy a wonderful performance complete with the great love songs of the 60’s at Dix Hills Performing Arts Center. During the evening, there’s plenty of comedy shows going on, including YANKS!: Comedy From The Other Side at the Rose Theater and Comedy Night at Plaza Cinema & Media Arts Center.
