I went to Miracle Maze for the first time with my 4 year old son last week. It's in Rocky Point, on Rt 25.

Kudos: It's cute, it's clean, it's empty. It's pretty new so I don't think too many people know about it yet...so when we were there it was REALLY quiet (2 other kids there). The maze and ball pits are very nice, super clean and well-kept. However, if your child gets up in there and wants Mommy to come up and rescue.. you're in trouble. Also, if they won't come out it could be a problem (at least for me in my current pregnant condition it definitely would).

There's some small slides and ball pits for little ones to be very happy and also bigger stuff for bigger kids. I should caution you that the slides (the higher ones) are really really fast. Don't sit at the bottom looking up and telling your son, "hey.. I see you" 'cause you'll get bopped in the head.

I really was impressed with how clean it all was... the kids just wear socks throughout the place. This place is not as huge as fun-4-all in Port Jeff and more manageable with friends. You could easily be standing together chatting with friends while your kids were in the maze.

Annoying: There's another section in the back full of arcade games and grocery-store-type rides. The fee to get into the place is $5, but then the games and rides will tack on more bucks. At least with fun-4-all, the games are on another floor and not so obvious. You have to walk by this stuff to go to the bathroom and Luc is an arcade junkie. Two of the rides ate our quarters and there are signs everywhere saying that Miracle Maze is not responsible (so you don't get your money back). However, when it came to turning in tickets to get a prize, I didn't have enough for the particular toy Luc wanted and they didn't seem to care much. (I did mention that I lost a few quarters and tokens on their toys).

All in all, Luc had a great time and 2.5 hours flew by... I wasn't sure there'd be enough to keep him happy but there was. (an extra 3 bucks was spent in the arcade section). When it was time to go he was bummed and said he definitely wanted to go back again. So I guess according to Luc, it was a good adventure. :-)
